Coaching

Life very often throws us challenges and questions. The answers to our life questions lie within us. Accessing it requires a structured conversation, questions that challenge us, and an opportunity to say it loud.

Sometimes we are happy with friends and family to help with this. Very often, these questions are of a personal and sensitive nature.  Then we need someone qualified and independent for such a conversation.

More about me and my role as a Coach

My name is Emsia, and I am married to Charl. We have three sons. Jacques and Christo are young adults, and Zander is almost a teenager.

I worked in the corporate world for 25 years and then started my own consulting and coaching business. We moved to Switzerland for a few years during 2019 in response to the career opportunity that came to Charl’s side.

I qualified as a life coach years ago because I see it as a calling. The skills and techniques were valuable in my roles as a consultant and as a mother. Most of all, it was helpful when I had to deal with my life challenges.

My professional background

I have held various roles in consulting, business development and human resources at PwC for 25 years. Since 2017, I have been working as an independent coach. I am a Chartered Accountant registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). I also have a diploma in coaching and am registered with Coaching and Mentoring South Africa (COMENSA).
